Area Preparation
Remove all loose, peeling paint, dirt, mildew, grease, chalk, rust and any other surface contaminants. Putty all holes and caulk all open seams. Sand all glossy, rough and patched surfaces.
Prime
Prime all bare wood, metal, chalky and porous surfaces with an appropriate high-quality primer. For masonry surfaces, allow to dry thoroughly, then prime with an appropriate alkali-resistant primer.
Application
Stir thoroughly and apply with a high quality brush, roller or paint pad or by spray equipment. When using more than one container of the same color, intermix to ensure color uniformity. No thinning is usually required. If needed, add up to ¼ pint (118 milliliters) of water per gallon (3.78 liters).
Application Temperature
Apply paint only when air, product and surface temperatures are 35°F (2°C) or above and will remain above 35°F (2°C) for the next 24 hours.
Drying Time
Normally dries in 30 minutes at 77°F (25°C) for flat and one hour for satin and semi-gloss.
Cleanup
Clean tools and hands with warm, soapy water.
