Product Features

Olympic® FastHide® Ultra Interior/Exterior Alkyd Paint is formulated to provide excellent performance to meet the demands of commercial and residential applications.

Where to Use

Ideal for use on interior and exterior trim work, garden equipment, floors and general household use. May be used on properly prepared interior and exterior surfaces of wood, metal, masonry, plaster and composition board.

Details

Area Preparation
Remove all loose, peeling paint, dirt, mildew, grease and any other surface contaminants. Putty all holes and caulk all open seams. Sand all glossy, rough and patched surfaces.

Prime
Prime all bare walls, wood, metal and porous surfaces with the appropriate primer. For masonry surfaces, allow to dry thoroughly, then prime with an appropriate alkali-resistant primer.

Application
DO NOT THIN. Stir thoroughly and apply with a high-quality brush, roller or paint pad or by spray equipment. When using more than one container of the same color, intermix to ensure color uniformity.

Application Temperature
Apply paint only when air, product and surface temperatures are above 50° F (10°C) and at least 5°F (3°C) above the dew point.

Drying Time
Normally dries in five to 10 hours at 77°F (25°C).

Cleanup
Clean tools with paint thinner. Allow 24 hours before recoating floors. Allow 48 hours drying time before use.
